Short-term rental VA training, done for you
We find and train your VA, so you can be present, not on the phone.
We recruit two candidates, train them on your homes and cleaners for about 90 days, and hand off the one you keep. You stay the decision-maker. They handle the daily work.
For owners who’ve grown past the point of doing it all themselves.
Short-term rental VA training, done for you
Live Viadoro is a virtual assistant recruiting and training company for short-term rental owners, based near South Bend, Indiana. For each position, we recruit two VA candidates, train them on the owner’s own properties for about 90 days, and hand off the one the owner keeps. The owner hires and pays the VA directly. Live Viadoro was founded by Vicki Parra, an Airbnb Superhost whose own two short-term rentals rank in the top five for revenue in their market.
Most guides to hiring a short-term rental VA agree on one thing: training the VA on your own homes is what makes or breaks the hire. Then they hand that work back to you. Live Viadoro does it for you. Our fee isn’t the VA’s wage, since you pay your VA directly. It covers the recruiting, the SOPs we build with you, and about 90 days of training on your homes, with a backup candidate in case the first one doesn’t work out.
If you couldn’t work for the next 90 days, what would happen to your rentals?
Now picture the other answer: your cleaners know who to call, the small fires get handled, and you come back to a business that kept running. That’s what we build with you.
What owners tell us before hiring a short-term rental VA
“I need to build my SOPs before I hire a VA.”
Don’t worry, we’ve got you. That’s what onboarding is for. We build your SOPs and property cards with you, so your VA starts with everything about your homes and how you want things handled.
“By the time I explain it, I could’ve done it myself.”
That’s why we train your VA on your homes, your cleaners, and your standards, not a generic template. You stop being the one who explains everything twice.
“What if I train them and they leave?”
We train two candidates through day 60. If one leaves or isn’t a fit, the other already knows your homes. You don’t start over.
“Rules keep changing. Who keeps up?”
No SOP covers everything, and Airbnb will change its rules again. Your VA is trained to flag what changed and update the SOP, so it isn’t all on you.
How it works: starting at five months
Everything is paid upfront, and the clock starts on day one. Five months covers up to five properties in one location. More properties or more locations can mean more training time, because we won’t squeeze ten homes into a five-home timeline. We’ll map out your timeline on the fit call. Here’s the typical plan for five properties in one location.
We learn your operation and recruit first. Your VAs then train with us for about 90 days. The work is planned for four months, and the fifth month is cushion, so a busy week on your side or a VA who needs a little more practice doesn’t mean rushing. Once your VA is ready, they move to the five days a week you choose, weekends included, usually 8 to 10 hours a day.
Days 1 to 30
Your VA learns the homes, then starts on cleaner reminders, turnover photo review, supply counts, and door-code checks.
You still handle urgent guest issues and after-hours.
Days 31 to 60
Guest issues flagged by your AI guest assistant, maintenance requests, and ordering within limits you set.
By day 60, you choose which VA to keep.
Days 61 to 90
Inventory, listing health, and a weekly report. Your VA gets ready to graduate.
You keep pricing and owner-only decisions.
Around day 90
Your VA moves to the five days you choose and runs what you agreed to and documented. We use the cushion month as needed, then step back.
You make the decisions. You’re no longer the one doing the work.
Who this is for
- You have three or more short-term rentals, and you’re the one every lockout, late cleaner, and guest question comes back to. Most owners we talk to get serious around five properties or about $300,000 a year in revenue, especially with a full-time job or a family.
- You run on Hospitable or Hostfully, and you’re willing to use HostBuddy as your AI guest assistant.
- You want out of the daily work, but you want to stay the decision-maker.
- You’re ready to write down how you like things done, with our help.
What this isn’t
This isn’t property management. Your VA doesn’t set prices, do bookkeeping, or do physical work at the property, and we don’t supervise the VA after handoff.

Who we are
Vicki Parra started in long-term rentals, moved into short-term rentals in 2023, and ran her homes remotely from another state before moving to the South Bend area. She left a 20-year medical career in 2026 to build Live Viadoro with her husband, Adolfo.
Nix, our Head of Operations, leads VA recruiting and training. VAs are trained on your standard operating procedures, not a generic template.
We believe in boring businesses: predictable, documented, calm. That’s what lets owners live extraordinary lives.
Proof

Questions owners ask
How much does it cost to hire and train a VA through Live Viadoro?
Starting at $15,000, paid upfront, for five months, one location with up to five properties, and one VA you keep. More properties or more than one location takes longer to train well, so we price and time those on the call. Keeping a second trained VA at day 60 adds $10,000. You pay your VA directly, separately from our fee.
Who does the VA work for?
You. You hire and pay the VA directly from the start, and the VA uses email and accounts you control. After handoff, Live Viadoro doesn’t supervise the VA.
What if the VA quits or isn’t a fit?
We train two candidates for each position through day 60. If one leaves or isn’t the right fit, the other is already trained on your properties.
How is this different from hiring a VA on Upwork or OnlineJobs.ph?
On those sites, you find the VA and the training is up to you. We recruit two candidates, build your SOPs with you, and train them on your homes for about 90 days. You keep the one who has proven they can do the job.
How is this different from a VA agency?
With many agencies, the VA works for the agency and you keep paying the agency for them. With us, you hire and pay your VA directly from the start, and the VA is trained on your homes before handoff. After handoff, your VA works for you.
Is this property management?
No. Live Viadoro is a recruiting and training service. Your VA doesn’t set prices, do bookkeeping, or do physical work at the property, and you stay the decision-maker.
What will my VA handle?
Cleaner communication and turnover photo review, guest issues escalated by your AI guest assistant, maintenance and vendor coordination, supply ordering within your limits, listing health, and weekly reports.
Does the VA work weekends?
During training, VAs work Monday to Friday on Eastern time. After graduation, your VA works the five days a week you choose, which can include weekends, usually 8 to 10 hours a day. One VA isn’t seven-day coverage.
I hired a VA before and it didn’t work. Why would this be different?
Most VA hires fail because nobody trains the VA on how your rentals actually run. We train two candidates on your own homes, cleaners, and standards for about 90 days, and hand over work in stages, so you keep the VA who has proven they can do it.
Do I need SOPs before I hire a VA?
No. We build your SOPs and property cards with you during onboarding, so your VA starts with everything about your homes and how you want things handled.
How much of my time does this take?
Most of your time goes into onboarding, where you share how you run things and we turn it into training. During the first 30 days you still handle urgent guest issues while your VA learns. After that, your VA takes on more each month.
What tools do I need?
Hospitable or Hostfully, and HostBuddy as your AI guest assistant. HostBuddy answers most guest messages; your VA handles the issues it escalates.
How long does it take?
Five months for up to five properties in one location: about four weeks of onboarding and hiring, about 90 days of training, then your VA on the five days you choose. We plan the work for four months and build in a fifth month of cushion. More properties, or properties in more than one location, add training time. We’ll tell you how long yours will take on the fit call. Delays on your side come out of training time, so the faster you share how you run things, the more training your VA gets.
What would you do with your week back?
Here’s what happens on a fit call:
- We look at how your rentals run today and where your time goes.
- We tell you straight whether you’re ready for a VA, and if not, what to fix first.
- If it’s a fit, you get your price and the next training start date.
